Scan and create QR codes, no account needed.
QRStudio reads QR codes, Data Matrix and barcodes, and creates QR codes for links, Wi-Fi networks, contacts or events. It all happens on your phone and works without an internet connection.
What it does
- Reads almost any code
- QR and Micro QR, Data Matrix, PDF417, Aztec, MaxiCode and barcodes (EAN, UPC, Code 128/39/93, Codabar, ITF), from the camera or from a photo.
- Creates QR codes
- For a link, text, Wi-Fi, contact, email, phone, SMS, location or calendar event. Pick the colours, add a logo in the centre and save as PNG, JPG or SVG.
- Checks links
- Flags look-alike domains, hidden redirects and addresses without https before you open a link. The check runs on your phone.
- NFC tags
- Reads and writes NFC tags with links, text or contacts on Android phones that have NFC.
- History and saved codes
- Find anything you scanned or created. History exports to JSON or CSV, so you can move it to another phone.
- English and Romanian
- Starts in your phone's language; change it in Settings.
What stays on your phone, and what leaves it
Stays on your phone
- Your scan history, saved codes and settings.
- The camera image and any photo you scan.
- The contact you pick from your address book to make a contact code.
Leaves your phone
- A request to a shortened link's address, only if you turn the option on in Settings and tap “Reveal destination”.
- On Android, Google's ML Kit scanning library sends Google technical diagnostics, without the content of your codes.
There is no account, no advertising and no usage tracking. The details are in the privacy policy.
